It is with sadness that we announce that Barbara Neff has resigned as Executive Director from the Quadra Island Foundation (QIF) as of September 30th. Barbara began working with QIF in January 2025, and quickly took on moving our priority projects forward including the Strengthening Community Connections workshop, establishing relationships within the community and spearheading Community Coffee Chats with other organizational leaders, completing our Vital Signs baseline study, updating our bylaws and charitable purposes, researching and writing various funding grants, and coordinating our Neighbourhood Small grants initiative. Barbara’s leadership and can-do spirit will be missed but we wish her all the best as she takes on the role of Executive Director with the Campbell River Art Gallery.
