A big thank you, Quadra Island!
Over the past six weeks, I have met many of you as I walked around the island asking people to participate in our very first Vital Signs survey. The goal was simple but meaningful: we wanted to better understand who we are, how we are doing, and where we as a community might need support.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in our first-ever Vital Signs survey. The survey closed on June 30, and we are thrilled to share that we received an incredible 374 responses from across the island.
Coffee Chat #2: Building Momentum for Volunteer Collaboration on Quadra
On Friday, June 13, 2025, a second Coffee Chat took place at Aroma, bringing together local organizers from Quadra Circle, the Chamber of Commerce, ICAN, the Gardening Club, Quadra Literacy, the Rec Society, and the Quadra Island Foundation.

Budget Recommendations for BC
Each year, the Government of BC invites public input on the provincial budget. Submissions are reviewed by the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services, which reports to the Legislature by November 15.
